Jarní Cena Brna 2019

16/04/2019

We've had our first races!

Not all our team, because it was not possible to do everything in time, but due to the weather, when we thought we were more in Siberia than in South Moravia, we did not mind at all, and I mean Indian and I.

Our "colors" eventually represented only Josef Klusacek, who is also a new member of our team and this year will mainly travel czech RR circuits on the Kawasaki ER6 Supertwin specification, which was prepared in cooperation with mechanic Ales Sykora and partners by the Indi.

At the beginning, we were struggling with few technical difficulties, but JCB was just as much of a test and training for us. But Josef already showed in the qualification that he did not intend to sweep at the end of the starting field and finished third in the first qualifying. In the second time, the other drivers did not make it easier for him so he eventually started from the still great second row from eighth place.

The first race Josef did not start the fastest and so several riders got over him, which he had to fight back and finally it was beautiful 8th place.

The second Sunday race was much better, Josef started better and managed to hold the first group of five riders. He was still riding the rider in front of him and eventually got to the fifth place, but then came the equestrian error :) and dropped to the 6th place where he finished the race.

Indians # 23:

"I fell a huge stone out of my heart when Pepa finished the second race. We take two nice placements, which is quite promising for the newcomer. The bike was not ideal at the beginning, but we managed to work on it and the result came and we still have space for further improvement, which we need to sort out for race in the Old Town, where Josef and his partners are going to be, we will be holding fists from Ireland at the time :-) "
